I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
