The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in power within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will split off from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his own means, entering the secret base, attacking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the other eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
